Calvin Harris, Daft Punk, and Kaskade have all landed multiple Grammy nominations for the 56th annual awards show taking place on January 26th, 2014. Kaskade’s Ultra Records album and hit single, Atmosphere are up for Best Dance/Electronica Album and Best Dance Recording. Daft Punk ousts Skrillex for the most nominees this year, competing with Kaskade and Harris for Best Dance/Electronica Album, as well as Album Of The Year and Record Of The Year.
Other famous names nominated for Best Dance/Electro Album include Disclosure for their album, Settle and Pretty Lights for A Color Map Of The Sun. Zedd‘s chart topping hit Clarity feat. Foxes also makes the cut for this year’s Best Dance Recording, as well as Armin Van Buuren‘s catchy This Is What It Feels Like. The only slight surprise was Duke Dumont‘s track Need U, which we feel could have been replaced by other popular tracks by Major Lazer, Lady GaGa or Krewella.
Here are a few less popular tracks from the top artists who made the cut:
