When it comes to EDC, who says the fun has to begin at the festival? What was once a three-day affair has evolved into a week-long fiesta now known as EDC Week. With more than 85 artists playing across 60 Vegas venues, there will be parties from the afternoon to early morning each day leading up this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival. There’s a little something for everyone!
With so many events to choose from this week, here are four worth checking out:
Factory 93 Presents: Adam Beyer x Cirez D, Thursday May 16th, Downtown Las Vegas Events Center
When Eric Prydz goes b2b with Adam Beyer, as his Cirez D alias, fans are in for a treat! Two pioneers in the house, and techno, genre, their back-to-back concept will transport you to a dark dimension full of visual wonder. If you desire a real rave experience, it gets no better than this!
Marshmello & Jauz, KAOS, Saturday May 18
Haven’t had a chance to check out Vegas’s latest super club? Now’s your chance! Located off the Strip, at The Palms, KAOS is quickly making a name for itself after landing residency deals with some of the hottest names in music, such as Cardi B, Skrillex, J Balvin, and Armin van Buuren. The club’s crowned jewel, however? Marshmello! Dance music’s hottest name has become one of, if not, the richest artist in the scene: inking a 2-year residency deal with KAOS, worth about about $60 million! Boasting a custom stage, ‘Melo is teaming with Jauz to throw one of the hottest pool parties of EDC Week. Two headliners for the price of one? Sign us up!
Calvin Harris, Hakkasan, Saturday May 18
Unless you’re going to Creamfields in August, the only way to see Calvin Harris perform, live, is if you go to Vegas. While he won’t be performing at EDC, Harris, who is one of Vegas’ highest earners, will be in town for one night. With almost the entire dance music industry in town, who knows who he might bring out!
Elrow featuring Fisher and Patrick Topping, Encore Beach Club, Sunday May 19
Elrow parties are like none other, using a combination of color, and creativity, to transport crowds to a world that mirrors Alice in Wonderland almost- complete with colorful characters and all the house music, and confetti, you can possibly handle! Experience the magic yourself this week, and prepare to lose it as Grammy-nominated Fisher takes to the stage, with support from one of house music’s finest: Patrick Topping.
