Insomniac’s EDC Las Vegas 2020 is officially postponed to October 2-4. In an announcement Friday afternoon, Insomniac’s founder Pasquale Rotella confirmed the date change.
Moving the date in spite of the festival’s landmark 10th year was no easy decision, Rotella noted, but due to the ongoing coronavirus spread, it became a necessary move. As North America’s largest multi-day festival pulling in over 400,000 attendees, public health and safety is the top concern.
Promising that nothing has changed besides the date, the flagship Insomniac festival will still take place over three days at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. When asked about any artist changes, Insomiac’s promised an equal or better lineup. Check out Rotella’s full statement below:
