There’s no shortage of DJ’s this year who have been either accused or verified as push button DJ’s, people who use their stage presence rather than live skills to entertain a crowd and rake in dollars. Some have also been accused of having ghost-producers who make the tracks that they get the credit for pushing the play button on. We discovered the E.A.S.Y. are a breath of fresh air amongst this crowd with their both hilarious and awe-inspiring remix of When Will The Bass Drop.
Watching the skills this duo has with the turntables and controllers that they use shows immense talent in beat matching and timing, all while appearing incredibly cool. The video is a clever mix of shots fired and craftsmanship as they make a subtle jab at the antics of said push-button DJ’s while letting their skills speak for themselves. We have a lot of love for the DJ’s that are in this for the joy of mixing, despite how fun it is to raft your way through a crowd. We hope to have a chance to see E.A.S.Y. in person soon, our suspicion is that their live set is a rather fun experience.
