YouTubers “Drugslab” Give No Bullsh*t Accounts of Drug Use — By Doing Them

If you aren’t familiar with DrugsLab, then you should be. No, not the shady clandestine drug labs that get busted by police. Drugslab is a Youtube channel based out of the Netherlands that takes a sensible and realistic approach to drug use.

A group of Dutch teenagers are filmed taking any drug you can think of and giving you a no bullshit recount of their experiences in real time, while also providing useful information on the various drugs they are taking.

The series is produced by the Dutch production company BBN through funds provided by the Netherlands government. The hosts, Rens Polman, Nellie Benner, and Bastiaan Rosman, will take any drug you ask them to take. Just send them a message, or use the hashtag #drugslab, and they will probably cover it or already have.

Every Friday, at 5 pm, they take to the screen to give you a real account of the drugs you suggested. Here’s a quick introduction to their show and what it’s all about.

The aim of this series is not to encourage drug use, but to provide real information on the drugs they take and some extremely helpful safety tips about each drug, according to the groups YouTube page.

“We provide you of safe methods of use, safe doses, the effects, the risks and very helpful do’s and don’ts while high on drugs.”

When it comes down to it, the drug war has provided a limitless supply of failed programs that operate under the notion that the best answer is to “just say no” or use fear to avert people from using drugs. This series is a breath of fresh air. It takes away the stigma and uses real science to back up the experiences, or experiments rather. It is all in the name of science after all!

Head to their Youtube channel and check out some of the videos they have already done. Any maybe learn a little Dutch while your’e at it.

Phillip was raised on so many different genres of music, it has given him a unique perspective into the ever evolving music scene. Trance music began defining his life at the young age of 14, but thoroughly enjoys any type of music equally. He sees the music as an escape from the daily doldrums of life and says music can change a persons life in an instant pulling from his own experiences. His only goal in life is to share wonderful music with people and take electronic music to a higher plain with more accountability and creating a safer environment for his friends.
