What do you picture when you think about the fall season? Pumpkin-spice lattes? Leaves changing colors? What about Halloween? More importantly, how about Halloween parties? Summer coming to an end only brings us closer to Halloween-themed festivals, and, this year, there are plenty to choose from across the Pacific Northwest! For the hardstyle crowd, however, there are many tricks, but no treats… until now.
Solid Events’ Halloweekend massive, Dooms Night, returns to downtown Vancouver, BC, Saturday October 27th. Celebrating its 15th anniversary, this year’s event sees some big changes, and it starts with the lineup.
Dooms Night 2018, the first “basszone edition,” is going all in with hardstyle and tech energy. Headlining the action this year is Brennan Heart. Joining the Dutch hardstyle music legend is fellow Dutch hardstyler Radical Redemption, and MaRLo, the pioneer of tech-energy trance. Forget house music, big room, head-banging bass; this year’s lineup, as small as it is, might be the most energetic, hard-hitting one yet!
Other changes include venue and entry age. Dooms Night will be held in the heart of downtown Vancouver for the first time in its history, taking place at the recently-renovated Harbour Convention Centre. Once an all-ages affair, this year’s massive will be a 19+ event.
Tickets go on sale this Wednesday at 10am, starting at $30 CAD (roughly $23 USD), plus fees.
