Don Diablo dropped the world’s first full length concert NFT. Destination Hexagonia is the title of his new project and it sold at a record breaking time of four minutes for 600Ξ which is equivalent $1.2 million USD. The crypto-art scene seems to be on the rise for many dance music artists. We have seen in the latest news from Don Diablo and now Jauz. Don Diablo released GΞNΞSIS NFT last month for 110 Ξ (200,000) USD.
Destination Hexagonia has Don’s love for sci-fi and out of this world technology incorporated. What’s different about this virtual piece is that it will come in a hand crafted box with the film on the hard drive inside of the box.
“My GΞNΞSIS drop went beyond all my expectations, and that really inspired me. I immediately felt such a warm welcome into the NFT community, and with that feel a responsibility to continue to push things further into the future and keep disrupting status quo. At this point we almost feel like this particular piece has become priceless because we worked on it for almost a year and put an incredible amount of love and effort into it. What’s next? I’ve got some incredibly exciting collaborations lined up and I can not wait to share it with the world very soon, this is just the beginning.” –Don Diablo
