Doctor P is no stranger to the Northwest. The Circus Records co-founder has been a frequent visitor, having graced the Resolution lineup both of the last two years as well as visiting Foundation Nightclub last summer. Now the bass legend known to his friends as Shaun Brockhurst is set to land in Seattle once again for a performance that promises to be like nothing he’s ever brought.
I’ve got plenty of new music to try out. My goal for 2014 was to release as much music as possible, because I didn’t put a lot out in 2013. I’m working on like 12 new tracks, so I’m trying to figure out a release schedule for all of it now!
But Doctor P isn’t just rolling through town to try out new music. It’s no coincidence he’s up here practically twice a year (and a reason Seattleites keep flocking to his shows). Anyone who’s seen any of his last three performances can attest to the fact that Brockhurst has never disappointed.
I’ve never done a bad show in Seattle. The city’s got a lot of history in music, and you can definitely feel that at the shows.
In a city full of bassheads, you can bet any visit from the British dubstep master is one written in permanent ink on our collective calendars. Whether he’s spinning classic crowd-pleasers like Tetris and Flying Spaghetti Monster, or bringing brand new tracks in Shiskabob and The Sound Of Science, Doctor P is the full experience.

The last time he passed through town for Resolution 2014, Shaun took it upon himself to hide free tickets in Seattle for one lucky fan to find, demonstrating a down-to-earth approach not often seen from big artists. This time around, you may want to keep your eyes peeled yet again: You may very well be rewarded for your treasure hunting.
I always try and hide tickets for my shows, and I reckon I’ll be doing it again for this upcoming show as well.
If you’re not in the scavenging mood though, you can always head over this way to buy tickets, or simply try your luck with our giveaway for (2) free passes to the show below! In the meantime, stay tuned for our full exclusive interview set to follow what’s sure to be another hard and heavy performance from Doctor P.
