The Workshops
One of Atmosphere’s major draws is their commitment to securing over a dozen workshops, with each one directed towards a different audience, but collectively working towards the goal of helping each of us be the best we can be. Enter with an open mind and you’ll be amazed at the things you’ll learn and take home.
Three different yoga workshops, edible and medicinal fungi, a zumba dance party, storytelling & imagination, therapeutic applications for medical cannabis, and even a parenting workshop make up some of the knowledge just waiting to be discovered at Atmosphere. If you’ve never taken in a workshop before, make sure you take the time to check out at least a couple of them. You won’t regret it!

Rules to Remember
Aside from being a decent human being, there are a few rules in place for the sake of everyone’s sanity. Cumberland is a village of roughly 3,000 people, and when half that amount of people show up to enjoy Atmosphere Gathering, it’s imperative we treat the residents and their land with respect.
First things first, this IS an all ages festival, meaning there WILL be children in attendance. While most of them will probably be fast asleep at night, please remember that kids can be quite impressionable. So putting on a good example (which we do anyway, right?) will go a long way, and their parents will probably appreciate it.
If you’ve ever attended a festival in BC, they generally have the same set of rules give or take a couple. No glass, no fire, no pets, no weapons, and no lasers are the standard at most festivals, and Atmosphere is no different.
Atmo is also an alcohol free festival, and while you may consume at your campsite, there is no alcohol for sale on site, nor is open liquor permitted on the festival grounds. So please, be respectful and it will make everyone’s weekend just that much more enjoyable!

That about does it! DMNW is putting the final touches on our own preparation before we hit the road on Friday, and we’re so excited to experience another festival for our first time this summer. An intimate festival like Atmosphere is exactly what we’re craving considering how much the last month or two has taken out of us. One thing’s for sure though, regardless of how tired our bodies may be, we guarantee we’re gonna be dancing our butts off all weekend. See you in Cumberland!
