Earpeace has been making their rounds amongst the dance community for some time now. With partnerships with Excision, Mad Decent, PK Sound, and Ultra Music Festival, there’s certainly something to be said there. The Earpiece – HD earplugs offer 2 interchangeable filters with an NRR of 11 or 14. We’d suggest the High Protection (RED) filters for pretty much all scenarios as most events will be running at well above 110dB. These plugs fit really comfortably in ear and at no point did they bother us while wearing them for extended periods.
They also offer a 3rd plug in case one goes missing, which is always handy, and comes in a sleek, aluminum storage keychain. Something to note however is the tips are a 2 flanged rather than the usual 3, so some people may find they don’t fit their ears as well. Also worth noting here is that sometimes we found they were a little tricky to remove from the ear due to their smaller size. Generally speaking however, we were quite pleased with them.
