DJ Handz, aka Dancing Faraz, had us dancing and grooving to classic EDM hits at Chop Suey for the most recent ForevAvicii tribute dance party. He had full control of the decks from open to close on April 21 in downtown Seattle. Armed with his gloves, crazy curly hair, and pure passion for each and every song he played, Chop Suey was practically sold out.
DJ Handz loves to use his hands while dancing, high-fiving, and dancing in front of the DJ booth to lead the crowd. As this is a DJ tribute night, practically everyone came to dance, and the dancefloor was full from early on. It was truly special to see DJ Handz in person, and it felt like the same exact person we saw in the viral video from Miami Music Week.
The ForevAvicii event is a tribute to Avicii, who passed away in 2018 at the young age of 28 years old. Many of Aviicii’s hits were played such as Wake Me Up and Good Feeling, and other songs from the same era.

Chop Suey is a multi-purpose bar, club, and venue that has been a staple in the Capitol Hill neighborhood since its soft reopening in 2015. Featuring the main DJ room and a side room both equipped with their own bars, there is typically plenty of space to navigate inside. The line outside can sometimes wrap around the building, however there is a hotdog cart directly outside that always smells amazing. Overall the vibes throughout were pleasant.
Ever since blowing up during Miami Music Week earlier this year, DJ Handz has booked different acts around the country. Fear not, as DJ Handz will be at Chop Suey for this recurring Foreaviccii event every 3rd Friday of the month! Next one will be May 19, grab your tickets here.
