Making their PNW stop this Saturday, The Dirtyphonics bring their Neckbreaker Tour to Vancouver’s Red Room. Joining them with be French bass master, Habstrakt, as well as Vancouver local Bullet Bill and LOFREQ. As always, the night will be powered by their in house PK Sound system and guarantees to draw a crowd of headbangers and bass heads alike. The tour set off from Milwaukee just under a month ago and has been breaking necks since. We’re suggesting you pack a neck brace for anyone planning to make it out this weekend, you’ll likely need it.
At this point in their career Charlie, Pitchin, and Pho need no introduction as the power trio behind Dirtyphonics. The group has been behind some of bass musics favorite drops and heaviest remixes since 2004. Last we saw them was back in October for Freaknight 2015 at the Tacoma Dome, and we can tell you it was certainly a show for the books. The Neckbreaker tour is rounding off with its last few dates so the boys are for sure in the groove and ready to give us another bass filled performance. If you don’t believe us, just check out their recap video from the tour so far.
Not to be forgotten, however, is French, future bass extraordinaire, Adam Juneau – better known as Habstrakt. Adam has been carving out a name for himself for the past year with collaborations with artists like SKisM and Epctic, as well as his EP release My People back in December. We’re expecting nothing but bigger things from Habstrakt in the coming months, while the Neckbreaker Tour only furthers his exposure here in the PNW.
Some venues are just made for certain tours and artists to play, and there is no exception to Vancouver’s Red Room when it comes to all things bass. We were more than pleased to learn the The Neckbreaker tour will be making its PNW stop there, and will likely be the best sound system of the tour. Coming off their 2 year anniversary, Digital Motion Events will once again be putting together a must attend Saturday night for their weekly SUBculture Saturdays. Tickets and more event details are available at Red Rooms website, as well as The Dirtyphonics official Facebook Page.
