It is important to note that Diplo is likely facing a ton of pressure to ban kandi, as there are probably a lot of things going on behind the scenes in regards to this, none of which we are privy to knowing. That being said, it’s still important to stand up for what’s right, and banning a piece of plastic jewelry because it’s not something you want to participate in and it’s not how you experience music seems limiting. Dance Music Northwest politely but firmly stands with the kandi community and the fair treatment of all concert attendees everywhere.
