Diplo is starting to move his way into other genres of music, and this one may come as a surprise. Diplo just released a track with a country feel under a new project. The new project is called Thomas Wesley, taken from his birth name, Thomas Wesley Pentz Jr., and his first single is, So Long featuring Cam.
When we first heard about this mix of genres we were a little unsure of how this would play out, but if anyone could do it, it would be Diplo. The track is just country enough, and electronic enough that it can hold both audiences. It doesn’t seem like this is a one time thing for him, but a continuing project.
