Dillon Francis began his Monday morning announcing that he had officially signed his first record with Columbia Records. This doesn’t mean he’ll be leaving Mad Decent behind, but this means he’ll be leading the wolf-pack of electronic music on a much more official level. Aside from the fact that Francis has taken the next step with his music career, this deal has managed to piss off a fair amount of his fans who now consider him a “sell out”. Regardless, we’re happy for him and we personally don’t think this will effect the integrity of his music.
Proud to say I signed my first record deal ever with Columbia Records! http://t.co/91dNhgzHvt

In the record deal we wrote a clause that Columbia has to send me a 20 dollar gift card to @TacoBell the 5th of each month for 12 months
