Dillon Francis is at it again, with a preview of a second track from his debut album, Money Sucks, Friends Rule. While his previously released single, When We Were Young, is a high-energy electro track, his new single, I Can’t Take It, takes Francis back to his roots with bass-heavy Moombahton. “The song is about everyone needing to stop pigeonholing producers into one genre,” Francis told BuzzFeed, who premiered his track yesterday.
The full album is set to release on October 28, and will feature a wide variety of collaborators including Martin Garrix, Major Lazer, TJR, and Chicago rapper Twista. For those that wish to pre-order Money Sucks, Friends Rule, both new singles, When We Were Young and I Can’t Take It will be available as an automatic download on August 26th.
You can catch Dillon Francis at the Mad Decent Block Party in Eugene on September 20th, or in Vancouver, BC on September 21st. He’ll also be joining us for FreakNight October 31st – November 1st.
