The people’s producer/DJ Dillon Francis keeps giving us reasons to love him. From tweeting pics of his gashed head to introducing the world to DJ Hanzel, there’s plenty to appreciate. His first album, entitled Money Sucks, Friends Rule, is due out October 28th and is currently available for pre-order. It also appears as though Francis is still hard at work in the studio.
The moombahton maestro began by tweeting that he and Norwegian producer Kygo were in the studio. Kygo, aka Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, is one of the rapidly rising young producers that are popularizing tropical house, and confirmed the two were working together with a tweet of his own. He recently appeared in the Northwest, performing at What The Festival in Wolf Run Ranch, Oregon this summer, and is making his Seattle debut at The Crocodile on October 4th. (Maybe he’ll be featuring a new collab with Francis at his show.)

Francis then released a quick preview of the song he and Kygo were working on and declared that there would be more to come from the duo.

The fun didn’t stop there, as Francis released another EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW (not really) of a collab between Francis and EDM-wunderkind Martin Garrix. Francis and Garrix have already combined forces for Set Me Free, which will feature on Francis’ upcoming album, and it looks like more is on the way. Although, it’s unlikely ‘Flintstoners’ will be the direction they go in.
