Everyone’s favorite moombahton-maestro, Dillon Francis, announced more details regarding his highly-anticipated upcoming EP. The Los Angeles-native announced that the EP, entitled This Mixtape Is Fire., is due out on August 14th. The seven-track work follows Francis’ debut studio album, Money Sucks, Friends Rule, which was released via Columbia Records in October of last year. As much as we enjoy everything that Francis creates for our ears, the return of his focus on moombahton is something we’re more than ready for.
Thankfully, Francis loves us as much as we love him, celebrating the announcement by releasing the debut single from the EP. Sounding like it would fit right in on Something, Something, Awesome., Bruk Bruk (I Need Your Lovin) is all of the glorious Francis-esque moombahton you could ask for. We’re hoping for more of the same throughout the rest of the EP, and with collaboration efforts from the likes of Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Bro Safari, and Chromeo throughout, we know it won’t disappoint.
