That’s right kids, the Mau5 has so much fun on his coffee runs that he’s decided to say to heck with DJing and is now just going to drive for a living. Ok fine, so he hasn’t quit DJing, but tonight Deadmau5 did manage to do a few turns as an Uber driver. At first we thought the tweet was just Deadmau5 being snarky, but as a few lucky folks found out Joel really was doing some Uber rides.
in toronto? need a lift? I’m working for @uber tonight, downtown toronto. get lucky.

It would have been way too perfect if a passenger had him take them to a Tim Horton’s, but some other fun was had. He did, however, have someone get dropped off at Chipotle. Deadmau5 definitely has no shortage of fun when he’s at home in Toronto and we have a blast trying to guess what his next move is. Rideshare competitor Lyft isn’t up in Canada yet, but we know of at least one writer* who would happily give Joel a ride in her car adorned with the pink mustache to try and convert him.
Got a ride to Chipotle with my personal @Uber_TOR driver @deadmau5 ! Thanks for the ride. pic.twitter.com/5nPtCbVyYF

What do you think? Would you be stoked if you requested a ride and got picked up in the “meowclaren” or would you have trouble keeping it together? If you got picked up by Deadmau5 ,what kind of adventure would you decide the night needed? We know y’all are creative so let us know.
*In the interest of full disclosure the author Lizzy Weibling drives for Lyft in her “spare time.”
