Joel Zimmerman, or more commonly known as Deadmau5, has always been one for surprises. From becoming an Uber driver to facing off with Disney in a lawsuit over his trademarked mouse ears, there’s no telling what the Canadian DJ and producer has in store for his fans and critics alike. But what we can expect is an upcoming EP release, featuring a compilation of “5 years of Mau5” remixes, including producers from a variety of dance music genres, such as Chuckie, Dillon Francis, Nero and Madeon to name a few.
Over the weekend, Deadmau5 took to his website to unveil his plans for the upcoming EP. The album cover artwork hints at possible remixes from his albums Random Album Title, For Lack of A Better Name, 4×4=12, and >Album Title Goes Here<. Whatever Joel will have in store for us, we cannot wait for the release! In the meantime if you’re looking to get your Deadmau5 fix, check out his two hour Techno set from earlier this month at Amnesia Ibiza.
