Just get home from work? Do you need something to watch to unwind from your day? Luckily, us at Dance Music Northwest have exactly what you need. After releasing his massive two-sided 25 track album while(1<2) in June, deadmau5 is back again with his latest anthology, 5 Years of Mau5. David Hasselhoff (yes, that David Hasselhoff) gave us a sneak peak of the compilation’s tracklist via Twitter and looks to feature his greatest hits of the past five years on one CD, with the best deadmau5 remixes on the other.
To promote 5 Years of Mau5, Joel teamed up with Honda and Live Nation’s live concert series called Honda Stage to perform a live set on the series’ Youtube channel. The performance was live broadcasted yesterday from the Knockdown Center in New York City. Do not panic if you missed it because the set is available in full on the Honda Stage channel after it is streamed. 5 Years of Mau5 will be released on November 24th and you can preorder it from iTunes here.
In August, Joel stated that he was working on a new live performance called the Entropy Tour. He soon released short previews of his tour through Youtube. Deadmau5 is one the five major artists that needs to make a return to the Pacific Northwest, so we will be anxiously awaiting the news of his official tour dates. Dance Music Northwest will be the first to let you know when that is released!
