Wait what? Remixing workshop? Free? In Seattle? Yes, all of those exciting statements are true, and if you get on it quickly you can attend as part of the studio audience! The specific title of the workshop is Making Remixes in FL Studio, and one of many cool parts of the workshop is it will teach how to do remixes without having to have the stems, meaning you can work with any track you find that tickles your fancy.
Some of the other topics covered in the workshop will be coming up with melodies and harmonies that are consistent with the original source as well as figuring out what key a song is in. At the end of the day you’ll have a newfound appreciation for just how much goes into some of your favorite remixes, and may even feel ready to tackle some of your own. Space is limited in the workshop and the deadline to register is coming up fast.
The workshop will take place from 8AM to 4PM, breakfast and lunch will be provided to attendees. All attendees will also have access to the online class afterwards to keep building their skills from what was taught during the day. Dave Pezzner’s DJ sets and tracks have electrified dance floors on some of the most famous clubs, including Space Ibiza and Fabric London. This is an incredible chance to learn from a talented producer, at the insane price of free!
