Since the dramatic exit of longtime EDM powerhouse producer Jeffrey Sutorius from Dutch house outfit Dash Berlin, the future of the group has hung in the balance. Tour dates were suddenly canceled and the electronic dance music community was stunned on an international level.
Rumors abounded of the split and what it meant for the once-trio, now duo. That is, until a surprise Tweet last week from the group’s official account stating simply:
“Coming in 2019 đ “
At this time, no other information concerning the titles, tour dates or release dates for the new material has been released. However, it is worth mentioning that all current and former members of Dash Berlin have an extensive production history.
For example, the remaining members of the group Sebastiaan Molijn and Eelke Kalberg are particularly famous for their production credits on dance music classic Better Off Alone (seriously!) and it is doubtless whatever future project they share with us will be stellar.
No tour dates have been announced for the PNW yet. However, Dash Berlin has toured extensively throughout the United States and Eastern Canada. He also presented a particularly excellent mix at the Kinetic Field stage at EDC Las Vegas 2018. Their iconic mix of house beats and trancey vibes is a sure-fire crowd pleaser. It is no small wonder they have stayed prominent and productive over the past two decades.
