Jeffrey Sutorious reunites with Dash Berlin, drops new remix

The iconic project and headliner of multiple massive festival lineups for the last, honestly, 10 years, Dash Berlin, has released the first track since Jeffrey Sutorious’ return. This track is a remix of Myon and Icon’s Cold Summer and sees the Dash Berlin venture finding a step to ground it’s future on after what has been a crazy year, and Sutorius at the head and arguably the heart of the project once again.

If you are a long-time devoted fan of Dash Berlin, you will most likely find satisfaction with the path that Jeffrey seems to be pursuing with this remix. This song filled with bumping bass lines and heart-grabbing cords that honestly transforms Myon’s Cold Summer into a trance classic that you can easily get hooked on listening to. Saying that fans have been waiting with baited breath since the announcement earlier this summer of Sutorius’ return to Dash Berlin is an understatement.

If you happened to miss the story, last year in 2018, Sutorius left his iconic project making headlines in the EDM world from Dash Berlin’s other producers, Sebastiaan Molijn and Eelke Kalberg. At the time of the split, the two members above owned the rights to Dash Berlin, which immediately barred Sutorious from using the name he had represented essentially to the public for most of his DJ career.

After legal discussions, the parties came together and came to a mutual agreement. Sutorius would be able to continue to use Dash Berlin and maintain the rights to the name moving forward, and Sebastiaan Molijn and Eelke Kalberg have stepped down to pursue their own new music ventures.

Peep the group’s full statement below:

Dear friends, fans, promoters & press,

We are happy to announce that after a pretty challenging time for all of us, we succeeded in overcoming our differences and misunderstandings. At the end of the day, good communication is everything. After a sensational rollercoaster journey of more than 10 years with many highlights, we all have come to the conclusion that the chemistry between us is gone and that it is time for a change.

We all now look forward to a new chapter. Jeffrey Sutorius will set forth the legacy of Dash Berlin within his own vision. Founding members and music producers Sebastiaan Molijn and Eelke Kalberg together with Vanderkleij Agency have decided to end their part in the Dash Berlin project to focus on exciting new musical projects.
We all wish each other nothing but good vibes and success.
We thank everybody for the ongoing support.

The catchy new release is a sure sign that Dash Berlin is back and ready for action, so we can only hope to see more heart-grabbing tracks, emotional ballads, and magical moments at festivals that take your breath away in the future. Dashers Rejoice.
