The biggest electronic dance music festival in the state of Utah, Das Energi revealed its full 2018 lineup Wednesday. Joining previously announced headliners Kasakde, DeadMau5, Rezz, and Dillon Francis are plenty of Northwest favorites, including one of Seattle’s very own rising stars, Sharps!
Taking place at the Great Saltair concert hall, located on the southern shore of Utah’s Great Salt Lake, Das Energi returns for its seventh anniversary. There’s a little something for everyone here! Bassheads can witness history as NGHTMRE and Snails perform a full back-to-back set for the first time. Trance lovers can vibe to the sounds of the legendary Paul van Dyk, and two of Anjunabeats’ finest: Andrew Bayer and Spencer Brown. Want to get your shuffle on on the salt flats of Salt Lake? Let Anna Lunoe and Chris Lake provide your soundtrack! Oh, and have we mentioned the four big headliners already?
Bringing a taste of Seattle to Salt Lake City is SHARPS. Winson Sharps, who is a resident DJ, and music director at Aston Manor, has been a rising star on the national scene, after winning an opportunity to play at EDC Orlando last year. We love to see our hometown heroes flourish, and can’t wait to see what Sharps brings to the Das Energi stage!
18+ two-day passes start at $145, with a payment plan also available to help make things a little more manageable- especially if you’re budgeting for multiple festivals this summer. While there are no camping opportunities here, the festival has partnered with Unity Travel to assist with any accommodation, or transportation, needs as you make your trek from the Pacific Northwest.
