We believe in the deeper meaning behind the music; that EDM is not some fashionable trend that will come and go. It is a movement; A way of life that we are all deciding consciously to be a part of – one that is full of love, unity, respect, and peace. And it is NOT just in our city, our region, our country. This is a world-wide community that breathes and feels and loves in the same way – much like humans do – and we are all one. And this coming December marks the second year of something so incredible for us: A chance to prove to the world just what we are, and how much we love and respect more than just our music, but one another, as well.
December 1st is the official World AIDS Day – a day to remember those affected and taken from us by the terrible disease, and also a chance for everyone to come together as one, humane unity and make a change. With the amazing (Red) Campaign behind the scenes for the second year in a row, they’ve created something truly unique, inspiring, and right up our alley in order for us to all take part in helping change the world and save lives.
Dance(Red), Save Lives is a 2-day festival celebration taking place during Stereosonic Sydney in Australia that is helping raise money to fight against AIDS. Our favorite EDM artists including Above&Beyond, Alesso, Sebastian Ingrosso, Nero, Krewella, Zedd, and many more will be performing and supporting the cause, and this year is expected to be more phenomenal than the last.

3)Host your own Dance(Red), Save Lives dance party! There will be thousands of charitable events going on all around the world for World AIDS Day. Join this global dance party by organizing your own Dance(Red), Save Lives party at a local venue, community center, or anywhere else you’ll feel comfortable to dance. 4)Upload your dance moves to charity! This year, Coca-Cola has donated $1 million to the Global Fund to help finance HIV/AIDS programs on the ground in Africa. Now, for each of the first 1000 #CokeREDmoves videos submitted, Coca-Cola will make a further donation to the Global Fund of $25 per video up to a total of $25,000. There are so many incredible – and EASY – ways to get involved, it’s hard not to choose just one. So rally your friends, share with your family, and do something bigger with your weekend, since we already plan on dancing it away anyway. Feel good about helping support a curable, avoidable disease that we have the power to abolish in our very own lifetime. Feel good that your community is doing something huge, just as expected. And most importantly, use this as a chance to silence the nay-sayers that the EDM community is lacking in respect, responsibility, and love.
