Dada Life is known for their party-hardy attitude, massive life performances, and an unmatched affinity for bananas and champagne. Moving from city to city with their Dada Land Compound, they’ve been bringing crowds in droves. And while big crowds can be a blast, it would appear as though things got a little out of hand in Miami over the weekend.
While our first instinct is often to blame law enforcement, it seems as though this was a simple case of crowd control. According to multiple sources, things began to escalate “just as Tritonal’s set was ending.” As the story goes, the Mana Production Village oversold the 2200 capacity venue, leaving scores of angry concertgoers stuck outside with nowhere to go.
Once the venue officially shut the doors, fans began rushing the gates en masse. Law enforcement in riot gear showed up to calm the situation, and soon thereafter the whole event was shut down due to “safety concerns.”
Riot squad is here in Dada Land… They're shutting us down. It's out of our hands! So sad we can't play. We know you were born to rage!

Getting more details on what happened but 2 things will happen: 1) EVERYONE will be getting a refund. 2) we’ll be doing a make up show

As disappointing as it is to see a show get shut down, it’s hard to blame the police for a situation that had clearly gotten far too out of control. Remember to stay safe and be courteous out there everyone. We all love getting down to our favorite artists, but generally starting a riot falls somewhere in the category of “not a great idea.” More news to follow as it comes!
