Ready or not, we are a month away from the Electric Daisy Carnival! While the countdown to Vegas 2019 began at EDC 2018’s conclusion EDC 2018’s conclusion, the road to the electric sky started in Miami with small pool, house music, and a ton of Corona!
Corona Electric Beach parties have become cant-miss events, and Miami Music Week 2019 featured, perhaps, the biggest one yet! Partnering with Insomniac Records, Corona Electric Beach parties take place at some of the biggest, sunniest, cities in in North America– all leading up to big festivals like EDC, HARD Summer, and Spring Awakening. Best of all? They feature some of the biggest names in electronic dance and are FREE, so long as you RSVP online!
With a headlining performance from Gorgon City, and a delicious support lineup featuring Dom Dolla, Sonny Fodera, and Born Dirty, just to name a few, Corona Electric Beach Miami was a house music fan’s dream. We had to check it out for ourselves!
To our surprise, getting inside to the pool party at Miami Beach’s Shore Club was quick, and easy. We were greeted with plenty of sun, bumping beats from Omnom, and a crowd full of smiles- most of which were cooling off by getting inside the pool.
The stage featured a massive LED wall, and plenty of lights to go with. In front of it was a massive dance floor. Despite being a free event, things never felt too crowded and the vibes were so positive!
There were a few surprises as well- to include guest appearances from Paris Hilton (!!!), and Don Diablo, who was walking around the crowd, interacting with fans!
All the artists on the lineup didn’t disappoint. From the early afternoon to 11 PM, fans were transported to house music heaven. Being able to see Gorgon City was amazing! We don’t get too many house music massive like these here in the Northwest. Maybe one day, the Road to EDC will swing through the Seattle, Vancouver, or Portland. Contrary to popular belief, we do get sun out here! Just not during the winter.
