A small fire broke out at the Coachella campgrounds this last weekend. As usual social media was the first to break the news of the small fire. Campers reported hearing “an explosion sounds” prior to the fire and were told to evacuate the showers.
At around 2:00 am Riverside County Fire Department reported that a they were responding to reports of a mobile shower on fire. They then later reported that a total of 2 trailers were involved, 1 was damaged, while the other was destroyed. No one has reported what caused the fire, but luckily no one was injured.
