[dropcap size=small]F[/dropcap]or the second year in a row, class is back in session. Bass Academy is back for Round two at Showbox at the Market on Saturday, August 23rd and will be hosted by USC Events. This year, Figure, Mr. Carmack, Djemba Djemba, Hyperfunk & Myk, First Class, and High Drops will be dropping the heavy bass-infused beats. We love the idea of these shows playing right before most college kids leave to go back to school. Ok, maybe you are going because you just really want to see someone on the bill play, too. For whatever the reason, it’s a great way to celebrate the end of long summer days!
Make sure you pick up tickets for Bass Academy, as you won’t want to miss this highly anticipated show. It proved to be very successful last year, despite it being the first year. Last year’s lineup included Zomboy and Eptic. There have been plenty of epic events hosted at both Showbox locations throughout the years, and this one will likely follow suit!
