Everyone in our industry knows that ghost producing happens, but it does seem to be a bit hush hush. It’s not openly talked about that often. This recently changed on twitter when Chet Porter decided to tell his followers what he produced last year.
Chet Porter tweeted the following:
have been keeping quiet about this bc i always want to be the most humble artist i can be, but i co-wrote/ghost produced a song last year that made it to radio and became an actual hit. and nobody knows it lol. so weird to me. fuck it i’m gonna buy myself a crazy fucking house

Porter showed no sign of telling fans what radio hit he co-wrote/ghost produced, but that doesn’t mean that fans weren’t trying to guess. We still aren’t sure his intention on tweeting this information out to his fans, but it did get people talking.
