Long-running UK festival Creamfields has officially confirmed an astonishing addition to its 2019 lineup. English powerhouse duo The Chemical Brothers will be performing alongside the likes of Deadmau5 and Swedish House Mafia. The prominent Brothers will headline the Horizon stage on August 24th, an early announcement in a lineup still largely to be confirmed.
Interestingly, The Chemical Brothers actually appeared at the very first installation of Creamfields in 1998! This is sure to be another notch on the group and the festival’s contributions to electronic music history and excellent production.
One hopes to see some PNW talent making their mark on the lineup “across the pond.” The inclusion of (eastern) Canada’s own Deadmau5 is a good sign indeed, and we’ll be keeping an eye on the announcements as they come.
It’s also worth noting that Creamfields itself has several international editions, notably Shanghai, Chile, and Hong Kong in 2018. Shanghai in particular presented PNW favorites and Shambhala headliners Rezz, Jauz and Black Tiger Sex Machine last year.
