How To Dress Well has made a name for himself producing and distributing intimate, bedroom-ready R&B. It seems if you were able to catch him spinning a set in Chicago recently, you would have gotten a sweet kiss of Trap/Pop/Hop served with heavy liquor. Luckily for us, Tom Krell has taken the time to share one of his recent live sets from the “windy city” and it’s called ‘What Do You Really Want?’ The title of the live set references the DMX song of a similar name, and the mix contains “What’s My Name?,” another amazing DMX staple in rap music.
The mix clocks in at a little under an hour and features a variety of trap/hop hood anthems that make you act out what’cha feel is right, then run the whole thing back. This excellent mix includes: HTDW edit’s for Ace Hood’s “Bugatti”, Robert Mile’s iconic “Children”, Kanye West’s ‘I’m In It’, and most notably – Migos’ “Versace” (and “Hannah Montana”). Both songs get special attention in the mix and, because of it, develop into pieces of pure pop art. Once you press play, a party isn’t far behind.
