Are you afraid of a Halloween season without spooky-themed live shows to look forward to? While it looks much different this year than others, some of the biggest electronic music names will still be celebrating safely with fans.
Mixes, albums, and even socially-distanced events all make up fun ways to spend Halloween 2020. So you can still gather your costume and candy, and celebrate Halloween 2020 from your own home. Check out these virtual streams and releases coming up:
Halloween all October long with RL Grime:
RL Grime’s famed Halloween 9 Mix drops at the end of this month. But RL Grime isn’t stopping there, also promising fans a whole month of streams to showcase each of the previous eight mixes leading up to the formal premiere of Halloween 9.
Figure releases album, mix from his Halloween vault
There may not be a contest for another artist who releases so much Halloween-themed music. As such, this is Figure’s time to shine. Typically every year he releases a Monsters album. This year, he released the 11th installment, and a throwback 3-track EP which flips the Addams Family, The Munsters, and Beetlejuice. Figure is also headlining a massive Halloween-themed live stream venture hosted by a partnership of labels and promoters with over 70 artists. Starting Friday the 30th, you can check out the massive bass event here.
Deadbeats is releasing plenty of Dead Treats this season
After releasing their “10 Days of Dead Treats” last year, the boys are back at it again with a stacked program for this year. So far, Blunts & Blondes has returned with another mix, and RIOT TEN, LEVEL UP, and ALRT have each dropped mini-mixes on the Deadbeats SoundCloud. Filled additionally with single releases and free song stems, who knows what else is up the Deadbeats labels’ sleeves.
Kayzo releases Little Comp of Horrors Vol. 2
Also returning in stride to their previous year’s festivities, Kayzo’s Welcome Records just released their second volume of Little Comp of Horrors. Featuring both up-and-coming bass artists and well-established names, Welcome Records hits the spot with their unique crossover of metal, dubstep, and hardstyle which fits perfectly for the season.

Insomniac has also been tossing out show announcements like candy this week, including drive-in festivals and reduced-capacity shows in the future. Between their Halloween plans and a Wakaan drive-in festival in Montana this weekend, many fans across the country will attend an in-person show.
However we in the travel-restricted Pacific Northwest are still feeling the event dry spell with no end in sight, which may be the most frightening part of Halloween 2020. Even as we idly wait for some form of live music, we can all still enjoy some great mixes and live-streams in the meantime.
Important things happen in Pacific Northwest nightlife, and DMNW will send you alerts!
