DMNW’s Guide to Electronic Music at Capitol Hill Block Party 2018

The summer has barely arrived and Paradiso has already come and gone. *Crying-face emoji* For a lot of us, that was our one big EDM event for the summer, and we can feel that festival hype slipping between our fingers.

But wait! Don’t despair. There IS dance music on the horizon, and in our own back yard! Capitol Hill Block Party is a mere three weeks away, and has plenty of toe-tapping beats to keep that summer energy going. We at DMNW love CHBP for its wide variety of genres, laid-back vibe and proximity to a real bed.

While we always encourage exploring genres outside the electronic/ dance realm, we know you’ll be keeping an ear to the ground for the next dance party all weekend long. To make that feat a little easier, we’ve put together a list of the CHBP electronic/ dance artists by day and stage so you can always find the beat when boogying between stages. There are so many different sub-genres this year, ranging from house to techno to electropop and more. Dive in and get excited for a weekend full of dancing in the sun!
