Camp Bisco announced earlier today that there would be no Bisco happening in 2014. As the world-wide known festival has gained popularity, there have been several complaints from neighbors about how loud the music is as well as well as several attendees of the festival continuously trespassing on local neighborhood property. By now we could be asking ourselves if the festival could make an appearance at a different location in 2015!
[toggle header=”More information on Camp Bisco:”] In 1999, The Disco Biscuits formed the festival with an attendance of slightly less than 1,000 people. Since then it has grown to well over 20,000 attendees with national acts ranging from Nas & Damian Marley, Snoop Dogg, Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, Ghostland Observatory, Wolfgang Gartner, Skrillex and hundreds of other well-known acts over the last several years. Throughout the three days, The Disco Biscuits make a headlining appearance each night as well as usually another set (or more) earlier in the day.
The summer months are jammed packed with touring for the majority of the producers out there and we also know how well of a reputation this festival has at being at the top of the list as far as one-of-a-kind festivals go. Lots of new festivals are coming in around the New York area where Bisco is held. A new location seems more of a possibility in this case but no one will know any details until about this time next year.[/toggle]
