When dance music stars like Calvin Harris release sets for free, we should take note. Calvin, who recently performed at Met Life Stadium for Electric Daisy Carnival in New York over Memorial Day weekend, released his full one hour set along with a free download to boot. Many artists release their sets after shows, and now some of the biggest names in dance music are starting to follow suit. Any fans who didn’t get a chance to make the journey to EDC New York can take it all in from the comfort of their homes, while the fans who were in attendance can relive the experience in their heads.
We can only hope this trend of releasing live sets continues to spread (hopefully even to our own Paradiso?), making it so we can always relive our favorite festival memories over and over again. This is a great gift to fans, and an even better way to get in the mood for the upcoming festival season.
