We were dancing around the room when the Bumbershoot lineup was announced a few months ago. And now we have even more good news to dance about: A lineup announcement for the USC Events-hosted Silent Disco at the EMP Sky Church. Consistent with the rest of Bumbershoot, the event is all ages and will take place September 5-7 (your Bumbershoot ticket is the only way you’ll be able to gain admission, no separate sales will be available).
Now that lineup we’re so excited about! Get stoked for Dr. Fresch on Saturday, Candyland on Sunday, Dieselboy on Monday, as well as many of our favorite locals. We have Darrius, FooFou, Johnny Monsoon, Rome, Sean Majors, Subsonic Drops, Treyis, and so much more coming our way!
Never been to a silent disco? It’s a really cool performance format, during which attendees all receive a set of wireless headphones. You’re free to turn up the volume as loud as you want and tune into your choice of DJ that’s spinning at that time. Everyone in the crowd is jamming, but the room is actually silent, aside from those dancing feet.
