Max White and Keano Martinez are Highdrops — a Seattle duo recognizable for their ability to merge bass-heavy genres such as trap, dubstep, drum and bass, hardstyle riddim, UK garage, and more. The duo met on Martinez’s pioneering bass-heavy radio show, The Bassment, on C-89.5 FM, and now spin together in perfect balance, bringing together all forms of bass music at its rawest and freshest.

Over the past 15 years, Aaron Simpson’s near constant metamorphosis has kept fans worldwide on the tips of their toes. Simpson quickly rose to prominence as Seattle’s most beloved trance jock, headlining shows across the United States. As his notoriety rose, so too did his passion for edgier sounds. He’s shared billing with everyone from Andy C to Ed Rush & Optical to Goldie; has a series of DJ mixes that have garnered well over 100,000 downloads worldwide; earned 4 of 5 stars from DJ Mag in 2007 with his initial foray into production; and is the boss of the widely successful Simplify Recordings.

Kid Hops has championed underground electronic music for two decades on his weekly KEXP radio show and at countless club appearances. His kinetic DJ sets and engaging radio shows have earned him worldwide recognition – voted Seattle’s favorite club DJ in 2011, he’s also DJ’d at Hospital Records events in London, DStyle’s Run party in Bristol, and the legendary Respect weekly in Los Angeles. Kid Hops has appeared alongside numerous electronic music icons including Massive Attack, Goldie, Benga, Bonobo, London Elektricity, SPY, DJ Marky, LTJ Bukem, Roni Size, DJ Hype, and many more. His music has been released on Hospital, Dispatch, Intrigue, and Fokuz, as well as CIA, Commercial Suicide, and MC Fats’ U Understand Me Music.

FIRST CLASS is a collaboration between Jacob McDonald and Alex Bosi. Veteran DJs, aspiring producers, and respected promoters, they are taking the Pacific Northwest by storm, and can be seen at many nightclubs and events around town. Recently they performed at Bass Academy.
