Borris the Spider seem to have an interesting backstory. It’s kind of mythic and also kind of sweet. The identities behind the moniker are Tom and Josh. They both started making music around 2007 and the group split when Tom went to college and Josh went into the army. The two couldn’t stay apart for long because they couldn’t ignore the music they both shared. Tom and Josh decided in 2012 to put aside what they were doing to create a dance music duo that made Deep Bass, mixed with Heavy house music, full of funk, and easy-grooves, which was what the kind of music the two men were making when they first started playing together all those years ago.
Their new song ‘3hee’ is as smooth as butter. The house that Borris built seems to be full of life and funky grooves that will hook any listener. The deep and heavy base serves as a infectious metronome but when Borris the Spider flesh out this song with a beautiful melody by way of synthesizer beats and chopped up vocals, the party really gets started.
