The spooky season might be over, but we are still obsessing over Boombox Cartel‘s fire mixtape. Titled ‘Dia de Los Muertos Mix III‘, it was released in honor of the Mexican holiday Dia de Los Muertos, also known as the Day of the Dead.
Every second of the 57-minute long mixtape is packed with a cocktail of heavy bangers as well as unreleased songs from the duo and other artists. In true Boombox Cartel fashion, amongst the mix of fan favorites, IDs, grimy remixes are some classic Mexican and Latin anthems to pay homage to the duo’s heritage. The mixtape features bangers such as Troyboi’s Flamez, RL Grime’s Pressure, Walk It Talk It by Migos ft. Drake, Mo Bamba by Sheck Wes, and even Virtual Self’s Ghost Voices. It is definitely a diverse mix that will appeal to bass and trap lovers.
