Behold! The BOO Seattle 2023 two-day Halloween festival lineup just dropped, and it’s a very interesting mix of old and new. BOO’s social media accounts have been active recently posting teasers for the upcoming festival that will take place October 27 and 28, 2023 (Friday and Saturday of Halloween weekend) at Wamu Theater in downtown Seattle.
We are pumped to see Alesso and Alok on the lineup, who both recently played at Tomorrowland. Another Euro legend we are stoked to see is the PNW return of Dutch trance DJ Armin van Buuren. Other dance music OG’s include Adventure Club, Claude von Stroke, Steve Aoki, Zedd, Zeds Dead, and Zomboy.
There are also many bass artists on the lineup, including Barely Alive, Eptic, Frosttop, Kayzo, One True God, and many others. Based on last year’s lineup, there’s speculation that the blurred out artists are those who are also performing at Bass Canyon in August. We hope the additions could be Griz, REAPER, SVDDEN DEATH, Trivecta, and Wooli, but it’s still a question on the minds of many.
We expect another insane festival for the 3rd year of BOO, as Insomniac has delivered the last two years. There are plenty of spooky decorations in storage from last year to create a Halloween-rave vibe. The stage design last year was perfectly decorated. Each year has offered something new to festival-goers, and we cannot wait to see the improvements Insomniac has for us this year!

WAMU set to shine again for another Halloween rave
WAMU theater has served as the main venue for Halloween raves in Washington state for over 10 years. This includes previous iterations of the now-defunct USC’s Freaknight festival, with the exception of a few iterations hosted further south at the Tacoma Dome.
BOO Seattle features three stages across two floors. There’s also plenty of art, photo ops, rides, water stations, food, and shops for rave gear.

We love the Groove Graveyard stage on the second floor in the parking garage area due to its warehouse vibes. The Den of Darkness is on the first floor, but far away from the main stage to avoid sound bleed. The House of Haunts, which is the main stage, is a spectacular sight that features views from the second-floor balcony.
One of our favorite parts of this festival is seeing everyone’s amazing Halloween costumes! It is also fun to see your favorite DJ dress up for Halloween. We hope that they include more Halloween music this year, playing off the spirit of REZZ’s highly anticipated and seasonally appropriate Nightmare on Rezz Street set she performed last year.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 am, with GA and VIP options available.
