There’s an new sound evolving in the world of liquid drum&bass, and we can’t seem to get enough. After our Episode #003 of Elevation Radio by Seattle’s own Easy-A mixed a phenomenal blend of all things drum&bass, we’ve been on the lookout for more. And with a dose of luck – and perfect timing – our perfect new find was BMotion. Still yet to be discovered by most corners of the world, the UK’s BMotion is not going to stay hidden for long; His liquid drum&bass is setting a new standard for the genre, and his new 2-track EP Circles/Need Your Love is officially available to shock the senses in a sleek, upbeat style that sets your body and mind into pure, liquid motion.

Check out this EP on Beatport, available for purchase on February 9th.
The first track, Circles, features the vocals of Jon Lilygreen, whose performance can be compared to the Super Bowl‘s high-energy halftime artist, Bruno Mars. The repetitive vocals in the chorus are key in creating the spiral-effect that makes Circles so appropriately-titled, making the lyrics “you’re running circles around me” even more effective. The next track, Need Your Love, stuns all on its own. As vibrant chords and quick guitar plucks keep the melody in motion, the instruments progressively fade in and out into long, flowing synth notes, creating a holographic blend of sounds. Need Your Love is a prime example of BMotion’s pure talent of audial liquidity in a genre that boasts a powerful, upbeat kick and a solid foundation of bass.
BMotion’s debut EP Circles/Need Your Love will be available via Soulvent Records on February 9th on Beatport.
