With nearly two years under their belt since starting Bixel Boys , Rob May and Ian McPherson have already established a fan base from all over the globe. After releasing the tunes Bring It On, Empire, along with several other tracks off of their three E.P.’s and mixtapes, the Bixel Boys have had some heavy hits. With their latest remix of Theophilus London’s Tribe, the Bixel Boys are continuing that successful voyage. This remix stands out as one of our favorites. Mixing nu-disco with blends of R&B and hard hitting electro beats, the Bixel Boys have found an original sound that you won’t hear over and over again.

Bixel Boys have also earned the hearts of fans all over the world through their #FreeLife jerseys. After asking fans to describe in 150 words or less why they should be chosen to earn a #FreeLife jersey, the Bixel Boys chose 10 entries. The jerseys were far more popular than what they originally expected and became a hit within their fanbase. Because of this, they decided to sell the jerseys on their website, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to Camp Kesem, a week-long camp for kids whose parents were affected by cancer.
If you were at the Dada Life Compound show in September and made it in decent time, you should be familiar with the Bixel Boys and what kind of madness they can bring to the big stage. After hearing Bixel Boys, there should be no doubt as to why they were considered a breakthrough act of 2014. We have no doubt that the Bixel Boys will continue to impress as time goes by.
Let us know what you think of the Bixel Boys? Did you catch them at the Dada Compound back in September?
