Summer may have just started, but festival season’s been underway for some time now. EDC and Paradiso came and went, and for many, the question of where to go next is still an unanswered question. There’s always the Canadian juggernauts, Shambhala and Pemeberton, but right now is also a fantastic time to look to the future—specifically, to this September.
That’s where Beyond Wonderland comes in. Insomniac just announced the first wave of the lineup for the festival. If you’re into big names, well, then Beyond Wonderland is something you should definitely take a serious look at. From Calvin Harris and Tiësto to DJ Snake and Bingo Players, there’s some heavyweights set to make an appearance. Granted, this isn’t an event likely to sate your underground, post-modern trance cravings, but that’s to be expected.
Is a trip to the Shoreline Amphitheater a bit of a trek? Yes. Is it a trip worth making? Well, that depends on your personal preference, but for northwest dance music fans suffering from festival season withdrawals, it’s a hell of a way to get an immediate fix while they wait for Freaknight to roll around. Tickets are available now, and will run you around $200 before fees. However, if you’re holding out on September plans and still looking for continued updates and the latest EDM news, be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter!
