Benny has spent years in the production room but just recently started doing weekly mixes on his Soundcloud called Fak’n Mixes. Not stopping there, he just recently put out a remix to iLLa’s track Everything Gucci. This track has since caught fire, stacking up over 200k views on Soundcloud alone. We asked him how much this meant to him and his reaction was priceless.
The song has been out for like 29 days and it took me till like four days ago till I could actually sit down and let it sink in. Just to take in the pride and joy of it all. Just so much support.
It was just the right timing and right decision. He (iLLa) sent me these tracks a long time ago. I kept those with me and never did anything with those forever. Probably three months ago I started doing a lot of production searching or soul searching. Then I found this producer named Snails. He created his own sound and then remixed a bunch of songs and then made a mix. Like this is on another level. He just had his own signature sound. Which is what I wanted to go after.
