Seattle’s very-own progressive house producer Bassrock has just released one wild wave of an EP. With a skill-set comparable to the pro’s and the showmanship to match, Bassrock has been a rapidly growing local favorite since jumping into live performances over a year ago. Not only does he spend countless hours perfecting his sound, his weekly sets for The DJ Sessions on ITV LIVE have grown international attention, as well as his helpful YouTube tutorials with pro-tips on production. This latest 4-track release is nothing short of spectacular, either. Taking on an aquatic theme, Bassrock’s Beachhead EP is packed with flowing tidal waves of builds, crashing breakdowns and, as always, PLENTY of bass to shake even the sturdiest of foundations.
These releases come with some major support from local legend Donald Glaude, as well as Morgan Page, among many others. And after the first day of its release, Beachhead broke into Beatport’s Top 100 releases. This EP is a major milestone in the process of Bassrock moving up in his career, and we can’t wait to hear what’s next from this Sea-town star.
Tune into C89.5’s The Vortex this Saturday night (11/16) to hear Bassrock live on the air!
