Deep in the Washingtonian wilderness, an upcoming local event promises a long weekend of bass music, community spirit and raving in the fashion only the PNW can deliver from the 30th of May to the 1st of June. Brought to you by Konabass Productions and situated near Ford, WA, Bass Forest is sure to bless us with a “weekend of Headbanging, Neck Snapping, Bass music that will warm everyone up for the festivities to come this summer.” The headliners have been announced as Ray Volpe, Ubur, HalV & Spacecase, and Raskl, with many more to be confirmed.
For the Canadians reading this looking for a weekend’s trip, Bass Forest is about an eight-hour drive from Vancouver, or a four-and-a-half hour drive from Kelowna. Always remember to bring your passport or enhanced driver’s license to cross the border.
Please note that despite the legalization of marijuana in Canada, you still can’t take it over the border. This still applies even if one is traveling to a state where marijuana is legal. Such as Washington, Nevada or Colorado, etc. We want you to have a safe and fun trip over and to have a great time stateside!
Tickets went on sale April 12th, and they’re going quick! Get out there, make the trip, and support Washington’s weird and wonderful local scene.
Update: As of May 3rd, Bass Forest 2019 has sadly been cancelled. In Facebook statement, organizer Andrew Zimmer broke the sad news with the closing thought: “As always thank you for your support of Konabass Productions and your local edm community. We never enjoy cancelling shows and we wish we had better news for you. This event was definitely one that got away”
