The Rest
Bass Coast presents itself as a playground of wonder and discovery. While there are some elements you may be familiar with, there is ALWAYS going to be something new for you to discover. Whether that’s music, art, love, or all of the above, it’s left up to you to search for yourself and discover what makes Bass Coast more than just a festival.
“This place changed my life,” was probably one of the more common phrases overheard as we wandered around and absorbed in everything there was to offer. From dozens of interactive art installations, to the friendly attitudes that reflected endless amounts of happiness, the 8th edition of Bass Coast is being touted as the most successful one yet, and it’s really not difficult to see why.
Although it was DMNW’s first adventure into the yonder, we felt as though we’d been there for years, as a place we thought about in our dreams. But when this festival season draws to a close, without a doubt Bass Coast will still be at the top of our list as one to repeat.
Dance Music Northwest would like to extend a very big thank you to everyone who made our first Bass Coast experience one for the ages! From the staff down to everyone reading this article, you are truly what makes Bass Coast such an amazing place. Shout out to Andrea Graham, Paul Brooks, the Cat Commune, the DMNW team, and that security guard dishing out high fives all weekend at the Yarr-Bar. You guys killed it.
