Bass Coast Music Festival Announces Full 2016 Lineup

OH MY! We’ve been holding on to this bit of Bass Coast information for a few days now, and have been anxiously waiting to release it. Today, Bass Coast has officially announced their full lineup for 2016, and believe us when we say they’ve outdone themselves this year. Back in March, we had a teaser of what was to come, but we weren’t prepared for what was presented to us for 2016. The intimate, 3500 person festival the goes down in beautiful Merritt, British Columbia has become a must attend event for any bass music fans. While tickets have sold out in record breaking time, after seeing this lineup you’ll likely begin scouring the internet for a ticket.

Bass Coast is certainly a gem amongst the massive list of music festivals to choose from in the PNW. The festival, in itself, is a community oriented event that focuses on remaining independent of corporate sponsorships, fully sustainable, and keeps its attendees voices in mind every year. Each year, it features more than 100 local an international musicians and artists. If you’re looking for a place to hear the best in bass music, and skip out on the typical “top 40” style EDM sets, then this is the festival for you.

Do yourself a favor and sift through this incredible list of musicians, and spend sometime mining Soundcloud for what they have to offer. Even if you aren’t able to attend this year, we highly advise you to do some research in some on these names. Some may sound familiar and have appeared at other festivals across the PNW such as Skiitour, Neon Steve, Bleep Bloop, Mat the Alien, and even Bass Coast Co-organizer – The Librarian.

From Bass Coast:

“April 25, 2016- Bass Coast Festival is revealing over 100 more artists for their sold out 2016 event, including Leon Vynehall, Nickodemus, B.Bravo &

Nathan Jonson. This is in addition to the first wave of artists, which includes Machinedrum, Todd Edwards, Roman Flugel & Ivy Lab.

This year’s lineup features leaders and innovators along with emerging Canadian and international artists. Bass Coast Festival is proud to present:”
